What is Astragalus?
Astragalus is a perennial plant indigenous to northern China and Mongolia and is part of the pea family. Its root has been an ancient Chinese herbal tonic for centuries. This herb contains naturally occurring flavonoids, polysaccharides, free amino acids and trace minerals. Astragalus is best known to support proper immune function.*
